Dr. Yang is passionate about providing the best quality dental care to children of all ages while creating a rewarding and stress-free experience for the parents and their children. Dr Yang completed her Pediatric Dentistry Specialty training from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, and her doctoral degree from the University of Southern California (USC) School of Dentistry. Dr Yang has extensive years of experience not only in pediatric dentistry and hospital dentistry, but also in the dental research and academic communities. She stays at the forefront of pediatric dentistry by being an active contributor in dental research publications, book chapters, journal reviews, as well as learning innovative clinical approaches through annual meetings. 

Dr. Yang is the recipient of the prestigious UCSF Pediatric Dentistry Excellence in Dental Care of Pediatric Disabled Patient Award, awarded to only one recipient each year. Additionally, she has been awarded numerous research awards from UCSF, USC, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. (removed remaining sentences in this paragraph)

Dr. Yang is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry (CSPD), the Mid-Peninsula Dental Society (MPDS), and is a Fellow of AAPD (FAAPD).  She is board-certified and is a proud member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr Yang loves photography, golfing, traveling around the world to experience new cultures, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Tran has been creating beautiful smile since 1999. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree with high honors from the University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco. Following dental school, Dr. Tran earned a Post-Doctoral Certificate in Orthodontics from New York University.

His involvement in dental profession and the local community has been extensive since establishing his San Jose office in 1999. Dr. Tran is passionate about his work as an orthodontist, he truly enjoys and love spending time with his patients and his team.

Dr. Tran is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Santa Clara County Dental Society.

By providing the highest-quality treatment using the latest and most comfortable technologies in orthodontics, he continues to exceed the expectations of his patients and parents.

While not doing what he loves best, Dr. Tran enjoys skiing, golfing, listening to music and spending time with family.

Dr. Yen grew up in Northern California’s Bay Area, then traveled to Southern California for undergraduate studies. Dr. Yen graduated with a degree in Physiology from UCLA, then went across town to attend dental school at University of Southern California School of Dentistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Throughout his education, he has been involved in many research projects including anesthetic drug profiling, novel ophthalmic protein characterization, and DNA repair mechanisms.

Dr. Yen is a board certified diplomate and serves on the board of directors in the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology. This appointment, along with serving as a oral board examiner, allows Dr. Yen to make ongoing contributions towards maintaining and elevating a high standard of practice in the field of Dental Anesthesiology. Dr. Yen contributes continuing education review articles in the journal Anesthesia Progress and lectures to various courses and student groups.

Dr. Yen finds serving the pediatric and special needs population very rewarding, as these groups are often the ones who present with the greatest level of fear and apprehension. Dr. Yen also travels to Nicaragua annually to provide anesthesia to those with extremely limited access to care. In addition to taking care of his patients, Dr. Yen enjoys getting lost outdoors, watching his San Jose Sharks, and traveling to find new and exciting foods.

Dr Targ is a medical provider, specialized in pediatric anesthesiology. Dr Targ has worked with our Pediatric Dental team and has been trusted by our patients for over 10 years. Dr Targ is Stanford- and UCSF-trained, ACLS-certified, and has 20 years of private practice experience and a current California Dental Board “General Anesthesia Permit.”
