General Anesthesia

For children who need extensive treatment, have significant dental anxiety, are very young, or have special healthcare needs, general anesthesia may be recommended.

With general anesthesia:

• Your child sleeps comfortably throughout treatment

• Dental care can often be completed in a single visit

• Treatment is provided with the support of a licensed pediatric anesthesia team

• Your child is continuously monitored for safety and comfort throughout the procedure

This option allows children to receive the dental care they need in a safe, controlled, and comfortable environment.
